Community Health Works – Keep It Simple Trainings is the managing entity of Community Health Training Institute, Inc., a Texas Non-Profit Corporation. Community Health Training Institute, Inc. trains individuals to become Certified Texas Community Health Workers.

While Community Health Training Institute, Inc. (CHTI) trains people specifically to become Certified Community Health Workers, Community Health Works - Keep It Simple Trainings not only manages CHTI's affairs, but also works with Social Business Services in the Healthcare and Social Service arenas that perform or wish to perform value added services through the embedment of Certified Community Health Workers.

Dr. Maudia L. Gentry, Executive Director, Community Health Training Institute, Inc., began training Certified Texas Community Health Workers in 2010. She trained a number of Texas Certified Community Health Workers for UNT Health Science Center, Fort Worth. Dr. Gentry developed her own Community Health Worker (CHW) curricula for her UNT Health Science Center, Fort Worth assignment and also developed curriculum, on contract, for Baylor Health Care and several Tarrant County social service agencies.

In 2015, Dr. Gentry created Community Health Training Institute, Inc., a Certified Texas Community Health Worker Training Center. Texas Dept. of State Health Services granted the training center State Certificate #14. While Dr. Gentry focuses on Community Health Worker training, she still offers contract curriculum development; through the training center.
