Mama’s Apron Strings was born out of a small coffee shop in Annapolis, MD. After weeks of being covered in coffee grounds after work, helping her friend launch the coffee shop, founder Trisha Klein wanted a high-quality aprons that fit her personality. After searching high and low she found nothing and decided to make her own apron…and Mama’s Apron Strings was born.
Wearing her new apron it was not long before customers began asking Trisha about her neat new apron and where they could get one. “Well”, Trisha said, “I made it”.
Trisha then spent some time speaking with and getting to know the customer and what she was all about. A couple days later Trisha presented her with a beautiful apron donning a funky design that perfectly fit her personality. Her customer was thrilled.
She continued speaking with customers and making fun, quality aprons…One order turned into ten and the next thing she knew she was making aprons full-time in the basement of her Annapolis home and the rest, as they say, is history.
Since then, Trisha has created fun, high-quality, hand-made aprons for customers including:

• The Kennedy Center
• The Baltimore City Artscape
• Fun-loving apron wearers from New York to Oregon
