Well by my experience they take care of them selves in the long run in most cases the quality isn't there and bad news travels fast. In my market I don't have to be concerned with it but I would recommend that you have customers with jobs you have completed as a reference and even be able to show your work to prospective customers, quality always shines through especially if you are able to show them the differences in your work and the fly by nighters.
