Carolina Farmers Mutual Insurance Company (CFM) is the only insurance domiciled in Randolph County. It got its original start in 1892 as a County Mutual Insurance Company and limited to only writing fire insurance in five (5) counties. CFM changed its charter and became a statewide mutual insurance company effective 10-31-1996. Since that time the company has grown in insurance volume eight (8) fold. The company is represented by approximately 55 independent agencies across the state of NC through which it markets fire, homeowner, farmowner and commercial insurance policies. One of the things that makes us SPECIAL is that by being a true MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY we do not answer to stockholders but to our policyholders.

They can change name, address etc but they cannot change sex or age. If they were a no smoker at issue and later start smoking they would stay a non smoker.

I suggest giving them a call after a year has past and see if they are getting the energy savings they expected. If that response is positive, then I think it would be an appropriate time to ask for referrals.
