As a practice, we ask for 50% up front with the balance due the day of delivery or shipment. However, on occasion some customers will ask to pay upon delivery. Those are usually customers or dealers that we have a history with. The main thing is to establish terms in advance.

I do not have a "closing line." If there is one effective line to be used that guarantees a purchase, then I believe we would all be out of business. Selling anything has everything to do with the customer wanting what you're selling at the price point they can afford and appreciate.
