About Us

Figs and Honey has been in business since 1999. COVID-19 has changed our business model, but not our goal of providing outstanding food with great service. We offer individual hot-and-ready to eat meals for who prefer a chef-inspired meal for one rather than a buffet style meal for the group. We can also provide the typical buffet style meal (with or without service). As social distancing mandates lift/change, we will adapt to meet the desires of our customers.

How We Got Started

A love of food and the joy of creating wonderful experiences for our friends and family is what got us started with catering. The individual meals we are offering are an off-shoot of our already established model. We are simply creating our wonderful meals for individual consumption to meet the needs of our customers.

Looks like you have the right idea. Festivals and places you can take your food truck (or tent) to get your name out is the key. BBQ smells wonderful and will draw a crowd. Festivals and places you can take your food truck (or tent) to get your name out is the key. BBQ smells wonderful and will draw a crowd. Ask for business card from folks who come in (perhaps offer a cookie or some small item - a taste - for a card). Then follow up with an email or a call (preferable) and ask if you can come to their office to do a tasting. The best approach for getting new business is getting your food in front of the folks doing the ordering. Once they taste it, they will call! Be sure to leave a "call to action" card with the folks who order so they will remember you after you leave.
