After obtaining my Bachelor of Science from University of Georgia, I continued my education and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Piedmont University and am currently the lead nurse consultant for Springwood Legal Nurse Consulting Group LLC. I also continue a clinical application of my nursing degree assisting in the COVID-19 testing/monitoring through the Georgia Department of Public Health, and Documentation Review Nurse Consultant for skilled nursing facilities. In 2016, I was honored to be recognized as one of the top 10 Director of Health Services by the American Health Care Association at the Conference in San Antonio, TX.
As an RN, I have held the clinical positions of Care Coordinator to implement policy and procedures for the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology programs at Northeast Georgia Health System. This program continues to rank high in Georgia for their Cardiac Care Center. I have served as Clinical Education Coordinator, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Director of Nursing in Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Facility for over 10 years. In each position I have gain invaluable experience that has led me to provide the most effective services as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
I am an active member of the American Nurses Association, Georgia Nurse Association, GNA Informatics Chapter, Nurse's Future Leaders Chapter of GNA, Clinical Nurse Specialist Chapter of GNA, Georgia Healthcare Association, and American Healthcare Association.
