Unfortunately, I think the days of relying on a singular platform has passed. The fact that algorthims and terms of service can change on a dime has diminished trust and so there is decreasing emotional attachment from users, until you get gaming platforms. Platforms are as favored as their tools or features are useful.

So maybe you want to drill down and better define the segment profiles in that age demographic that you want engage. And then identity which platforms they are using and create interesting content there.
