How We Got Started

Started freelancing when I got out of graduate school.

If the email says it's from Amazon and the email address doesn't look like an Amazon email, then it's not from them. Sometimes an email might look like it's from a friend of yours, but when you look at the email address, it's not them at all. A lot of times the content of the email will say something like, "I saw this and thought of you." Then it has a link. Don't click it! I wrote a blog about how to recognize dangerous emails. http://socialsquids.com/index.php/2017/06/29/dange...

It's up to the business owner, but I am not interested in clients who are price shopping with no regard for anything else. I know the value of my services and if the prospective client is only looking for the best price, then they are not right for me.
