We all need to accept the fact that all our lives are effected by Google. Whether in business with our Search results or in our kids school work (mostly done with Google Docs nowadays). There are no many other areas of our lives that have direct affiliations with Google under so many different names we'll never know them all. Fact is Google is here to stay and we all need the ability to navigate it as best we can. Find what works for you and roll with it! If your Search results are the most important factor in your dealings with Google then go after that. Small businesses need to think local and things like Adwords express can certainly help with that on a local level without spending much money. Put as many Google products as possible into your own website and social media, Google seems to like sites with lots of their content. Insert a map, a Street View virtual tour, whatever you can use that is relevant to your business. Most importantly, verify your business listing through Google My Business and load it up with as much info about your business as possible. Bottom line, you want to be found? you need to be on Google.
