This is a common issue with any service provider. I keep this image handy as an ice breaker. In our Digital Marketing business, we offer a very complete package of services. It costs around $4,000 a month for our target client. Now, when you get into the "SEO" part of what we provide (which is our specialty), there are a few fly by nighters and a few who can't even spell SEO...who charge $500. $500 vs $4,000 = BIG Difference right?But see, our service is not just SEO. And our service is much more in depth than what the $500 guys are providing. So, each of my sales reps are versed in outlining the differences, and doing so in a professional, convincing and quick manner. As Lisa points our, sometimes there is a bad client fit. In our industry, few, if any folk, know the difference between good SEO, really good digital marketing as a whole, the financial difference a sold company provides... vs the $500 guys. We provide a very extensive list of what our package includes. We provide data that supports the financial difference we create, and show that if you pay $500 for SEO and, say, hire someone to do all of the other stuff we do, it will cost you TWICE as much as what we provide. There's no learning curve on our end. And suddenly, what amounts to a little over $100 a day, turns into the best money they ever spent! It's important to remember that the sweetness of a Low Price is long forgotten due to the eternal bitterness of Poor Quality!
