I used to be a truck driver with construction background. One day a friend asked me if I could go look at a house with her that she was thinking about buying. While we were looking through the house I noticed in the basement way back in a corner a broken floor joist that was behind a lot of duct work that if you weren't looking close (like most people don't do) it could have been missed and turned into a major problem. My friend and the realtor both said that I had a good eye.So I made up my mind right then that I have a passion to help people to find a good house without any major defects. So I took a college course on house inspections and took all of the state and national tests to become a house inspector, then with in 6 months I quit my job as a truck driver and started my business at Around The House Home Inspections LLC.
