Get a good property manager with experience to help you. Getting backgrounds checks, and credit checks on prospective tenants is something your manager should do. And remember, everything in real estate in negotiable except the law and ethics. I don't know where you are located so there are more than likely other issues to satisfy and don't hesitate to make those things contingencies. Good luck!

I had a bank owned strip mall listed for a long time. Seller finally reduced it to something realistic and a fellow Realtor bought it! That closed right after my Paris vacation earlier this month. Now that's a "Happy New Year" for all.

Funny, I was just saying this am that I have NEVER shopped on Black Friday and I will not do it this year. I buy gifts all year and put them away. Most of my gift giving is shipped so it's not just what I save buying but on shipping too. Happy Thanksgiving!

I agree with Mr. Turwitt sort of. Each market is different. Here we have buyers riding around calling on every sign they see. So if they can come into an air conditioned home (this is Mississippi) and escape the 90+ heat; the Realtor has the chance to qualify the buyer with simple questions. I...
