How We Got Started
My legally blind/partially deaf son and I relocated from Georgia in August, 2016, and he found our two little cabins which we were able to buy in June, 2017. We added a third little studio cabin which houses our personal washer/dryer.
We decided to not only use it for our personal laundry use, but went to the fullest extent with my son’s “blind design” as he refers to himself and made it a unique getaway. Our guests love it!

Recent Activity
This whole year has been One of unusual happenings. The past 3 years we felt like we were on a honeymoon...then this year the bottom dropped out. But at least we are still here, doing our best to improve our situation. Thankful for our American dreams and freedoms to pursue them. Praying 2021...

We haven’t been infected and have lost several thousand dollars through cancelled bookings due to this China virus dilemma. We are very frustrated with the hype and lies of the news media and the underlying reasons beyond the actual effect of the virus. We see through the mirage of hypocrisy and know there’s more at stake in this whole governmental push. It is our hope and prayer that a true day of reckoning will be dealt to those who are in charge of this attack on our American way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Common sense thinking and living has been replaced by dumbed down ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth thanx to the power of $$$$$. May God have mercy on us and may American Patriots be ready to show real patriotism when the time comes. It’s coming.
Actually ours exceeded only because of a misfortune in my son breaking his ankle. We added his cabin to our guest cabin rental portfolio so the income in 4 mos on his was half of what we made all year on our little guest cabin. We hope to make another change in 2020 which will help us exceed...

I am not into Black Friday, never have been. So really can’t share any insights as to the benefits of it. I do most of my shopping online nowadays to avoid the rush of the crowds. Try a hometown bank, like Citizens Bank & Trust, if you’re in the Grainger Co area.
They will probably do a conventional in house loan for you, the interest rate may be a little more, but at least you can get financing.

I took Carlton Sheets Course many years ago, and in it he gave the keys to successful investing. I built a rental portfolio of 16 properties which I had intended to hold onto for a minimum Of 15 yrs. to payoff then flip. Sadly, my life’s situation changed immensely, and then the 2007-2012 mkt recession, and I had moved 130 miles away, so I liquidated to just get out of the debt. Learned a world of experience, but walked away with little $$$.
After moving here from having been born and raised in Georgia, I find East Tennessee people have renewed my faith in good, hometown friendliness. Somehow Georgia seems to be losing that attribute as are many large cities.
Our little studio cabin rental here now gives us opportunity to continue...

Our little studio cabin rental here now gives us opportunity to continue to carry on our Southern hospitality. Serving people comes easily for us country folk, and we have truly enjoyed the past year here in the Bean Station area.
