Yes. We provide pain relief through movement education. (Feldenkrais) I've found I can do 90% of my work by remote video. I've also gone to an "As Able" payment/fee system so people can get help and pay what works for them. People see value in the service, so they offer enough to make it work. I... (more) Yes. My business is providing pain relief through movement education, which I can do well by video conference. I mention it whenever someone asks. I offer discounts for as long as we're in Covid to introduce people. My business is starting to grow outside my local area. Ed Mills, Move Beyond Limits... I think that having a strong, positive sense of self is key for an introvert. (as well as others) As you think of doing something challenging, do you shrink and get small and try to disappear? (as well as others) As you think of doing something challenging, do you shrink and get small and try to disappear? Do you stop breathing? Do you tense in your neck? Do you tense in your ribs? Do you lose track of joy in your life? This all sounds a bit woo-woo, but if you go into an interaction with another person felling good about yourself and the topic, things go better. The obvious question is, "How would I do that?" Caution: Shameless business promotion ahead.... It's possible to affect emotional states by changing physical states. For example, if someone walks into the room with their shoulders rolled in and their head falling forward, you just sense that they're feeling sad or discouraged. If you help them feel supported from the ground so that they can come up and out, they feel better, and people interact with them better. I'm a Feldenkrais practitioner. We use gentle, novel movements to help people learn about how they move, and to move more comfortably. That leads to less pain and more comfort, and helps you find more presence and joy in life. If you're an introvert, you'll still be an introvert, but you can learn to be a more comfortable, (physically & emotionally), introvert. I used to think of myself as an introvert, but I've learned that when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I'm really an extrovert. I don't know if that's the case for you. If you're curious you can reach me via http://movebeyondlimits.com/Co... We can work remotely by video conference if you don't happen to live nearby. (We can also travel for a group workshop.) Thanks,    Ed

At the first level we use movement education to help people learn how to move effectively so that they don't make their neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees, feet, etc hurt. It's about helping people learn how to help themselves. At the second level, we help people learn to have presence and human dignity. My definition of a good day is when I can do something to make the world a little better, and this makes for a lot of good days. We first learned about Feldenkrais when Irene hurt her back and it was the thing of many that worked. It then helped us become more active as we aged. We also started working with children with special needs using Anat Baniel Method, which is extremely satisfying.
