About Us

I’m a Central Oregon real estate broker helping buyers and sellers navigate Bend, Redmond, and surrounding High Desert communities with deep local roots, construction insight, and a service-first approach.

I’ve lived in Bend since 1976 and have spent the last 17 years helping clients make informed real estate decisions backed by practical experience and local knowledge.

Before real estate, I spent more than 30 years in hospitality and restaurant leadership, including leadership roles with Deschutes Brewery, Mexicali Rose, O’Healy’s, and Broken Top Club. Starting as a dishwasher while in high school and working through nearly every role in the industry taught me how to lead teams, solve problems, communicate clearly, and prioritize service.

My background later expanded into building supply and home renovation, giving me a “behind-the-walls” perspective that helps clients evaluate homes beyond surface appearance. I bring a builder-minded approach to real estate, helping buyers and sellers better understand home quality, construction considerations, neighborhood dynamics, and long-term value.

Community involvement has always been important to me. I served on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Bend Business Association (Bend Downtowners) from 1993–2000, participated on the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS® Building a Better Central Oregon committee from 2010–2018, volunteered as a Summit High School “On Snow” ski coach from 2013–2018, and continue supporting Central Oregon’s outdoor and endurance sports culture through the Pole Pedal Paddle race community.

Whether helping first-time buyers, relocation clients, downsizers, or sellers preparing a legacy property for market, I focus on honest guidance, detailed research, and long-term relationships.

Helping buyers and sellers navigate Bend and Central Oregon real estate with deep local roots, construction insight, and a service-first approach.

How We Got Started

I’ve called Bend home since 1976 and my path into real estate was built on decades of service, leadership, and hands-on experience throughout Central Oregon. Before becoming a Realtor®, I spent more than 30 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, starting as a dishwasher while attending high school and eventually moving into leadership roles with businesses including Deschutes Brewery, Broken Top Club, Mexicali Rose, and O’Healy’s. Those years taught me how to communicate clearly, solve problems under pressure, and genuinely take care of people.

After hospitality, I moved into the building supply and home renovation world, gaining practical construction knowledge and a “behind-the-walls” understanding of homes. When the market shifted in 2008, I saw an opportunity to combine my local roots, construction insight, and service-first mindset into a real estate career focused on helping buyers and sellers make confident, informed decisions throughout Bend and Central Oregon.

Some of that has to do with the rocky nature of our soil but mostly it has to do with the short summer season. We have several developers that have community pools in their neighborhoods which as mentioned below reduces the desire to have ones own pool. You would have to think at some point the water conservation issue especially in California and Arizona will become more of an impediment to owning and maintaining a pool.
