About Us

General practice firm with background in litigation, extensive experience with family litigation, personal injury litigation, and property related matters including real estate closings and litigation, as well as title claims litigation, and defense of professional negligence claims. Mr. Bendush is also the vice-chair of the district XII fee arbitration committee, as well as a volunteer member of the Early Settlement Panel in Union County Superior Court for the past 14 years.

How We Got Started

Necessity is the mother of invention, and I learned that when I needed to open my own firm and had very few days to make it happen, in order to retain my client list and keep moving forward. Surprisingly, within days of opening the storefront office, inquiries and walk-in clients quickly filled the days. Before long we were growing, adding staff, and taking on bigger cases. In 2016 the firm scored one of the biggest settlements of its kind ever reported, recovering a total settlement in a home explosion case, in the amount of $975,000.00. Nearly 3/4 of the settlement was for PTSD, in a case where neither plaintiff suffered any actual physical injury.

(more) Lets remember that there are enormous proof problems, and any lawsuit would be almost impossible to win, alleging I caught the virus at your store.  Lets also remember that the federal government will  be passing an immunity law very soon, covering everything from nursing homes to meat packing plants, and preventing ANY cause of action based   on failure to prevent covid spread, etc. I do not see any real risk of a business being sued.   Write all the waiver language you want - it won't matter when law is passed preventing suit over any claim relating to covid.  A business that opens before the prohibition is lifted in his or her state, may well find that the  immunity from suit (when passed by congress) won't protect them.  Post 9-11 we did same thing to protect airlines and port authority from being sued.  Immunity from suit will happen again, guaranteed.
