About Us
We're a non-profit working to empower the lives and transform the futures of
underserved women and children… by providing them with the educational, economic, and physical resources they need to thrive.
How We Got Started
Washington DC News anchor, Shawn Yancy started her Girls’ Night Out by Shawn Yancy events in 2010 to help non-profits that promote the well-being of women & children.
In 2019 we became a registered 501(c)(3) known as the Giving Foundation for Women & Children Inc. and we continued our mission to serve underserved women, children, and families.
