Have an online store for products, services, memberships, and subscriptions
If offering a service, make sure you have a portfolio of your work.
Have multiple avenues to where customers and potential customers can reach you.
Offer some type of support on your website such as a help desk, support ticket, chat, or similar.
Website needs to be accessible to the disabled.

Furthermore, Congress had passed a new stimulus package calling for additional funding for small businesses through the Small Business Administration. I encourage you to apply. I recently applied in early April and my loan is being processed. Use the power of negotiating to get what you need. It will help your business in the short term while designing a plan for the long term.

Setting up a website using WordPress or another CMS take some work, but your website will look professional and secure. You want to cater to everyone and work with their budget because you want to become a source of affordable advertising that is effective and profitable for them. You do that and the portal will become self sufficient. I would charge between $1000-$2000 to build and program this portal and pay someone between $500-$1000 monthly to maintain it once the portal becomes profitable. You will need a sizeable advertising budget to market the portal. Check the internet for advertising and search engine optimization options that will work for you. I hope this information was helpful.
