Whether you are living in an upscale, high-end luxury home or just looking to "spruce up" a small starter apartment, we focus on exactly what you want to accomplish. You may be young homeowners, middle stage with kids and pets, or empty nesters. Our team of professionals apply their skills creating design elements to grow with, and compliment, your ever changing lifestyle.

Our design business IS our livelihood as we are not hobbyists in our profession. Even the simplest change can claim the grandest results. It's not about how much help you need, but what remains from our efforts.

For more than 40 years in the interior design trade (and coming into our 24th year of biz ownership) we have honed our skills, mastered our techniques, continued our education in the field of interior design, and built our network of quality craftsmen.

Our Philosophy...Is that everyone's home is a castle and deserves the same approach to creating and designing the elements needed for an interior or exterior space, regardless of the economic status of the client. Small projects or large requests receive the same level of professionalism and importance.

Offerings...Furniture Arrangement and Placement, Color Pallets, Wall Treatments to include exquisite patterns and styles, Draperies (Custom Styled and Ready-Made Versions), Unique Accessories to adorn your space, Lighting selections, Upholstery (New, Custom, and even refurbished and reupholstered), Floor coverings and custom applications, Bath and Kitchen Designs, Custom Tile Layouts, the list of items goes on as we select, recommend, and can supply, every aspect needed to complete an interior space.

What we don’t do...Is ever make you feel that you MUST make a hurried decision, spend more than you have (after all, a “budget” is not doing something cheaply it’s about respecting the cap of how much money one has available). We know that decorating goals can take months, and sometimes years to be finished, so we never make you feel rushed or that dreams need to be fulfilled in short order.

Ask Us...For as little or as much help as you feel comfortable with. Sometimes you need just a little advice via texting and pics, we get that. Or maybe all the way to a full remodel and redesign of a space or home. We take baby steps, then work up to a full run, whatever is required of us.

How We Got Started

I can say humbly, and without ego, that I'm not your average interior designer. When I was quite young, Santa brought me a construction and design kit. It was one where you could put up walls, insert colored or patterned wall panels. It even came with plastic furniture and clip on curtains to decorate with. It was clear then that design was to be my destiny. I was hooked.

IMPT: for those making the calls to potential customers. Be sure to go into your phones settings and idenitfy your biz so the recipient knows who's calling. Otherwise we see "no caller ID", "unknown caller", "possible spam" etc. So much better if we see "John/Best Windows" or something that looks... First of all, as a business owner, I don't ever "run a sale". My company needs to secure it's future existence to serve it's clients. HOWEVER! Twice yearly, for those clients that purchases an interior design services package we take a set portion of that package purchase (25% usually) which goes... (more) First of all, as a business owner, I don't ever "run a sale". My company needs to secure it's future existence to serve it's clients. HOWEVER! Twice yearly, for those clients that purchases an interior design services package we take a set portion of that package purchase (25% usually) which goes DIRECTLY to my buying high end, quality only, food and supplies for the local ADOPT Pet Shelter animals (a no kill shelter). These homeless and hopefull creatures are forgotten in all the hype of "helping other humans". Don't get me wrong we all need to be giving and caring, but these creatures CANNOT help themselves and cannot speak to the world while stuck in homeless cages given up by their previous, often uncaring, human. When we bring them the donations we DO list the names of the those clients who have made the gifts possible. In turn, the shelter sends them a "thank you" letter. We also donate our time, our discontinued rug samples, fabric samples for cat blankies, and so forth.

Just an observation, financial handouts/payouts over covid for rent maybe should have gone to the landlords not the tenants. Both would have benefited in the long run. Many landlords had no income as the renters who received funding never paid it towards rent but spent elsewhere. Now landlords... Perhaps a closer look should have happened before the payouts???

What isn't mentioned here: deleting what ISN'T working. Get rid of those things or services that cost you time and energy and may have been profitable years back, but no longer w0rk. It's easier than you think, the only one that will miss that stuff is you!

What would be grand for us members would be the ability to "organize" our fellow Alignable contacts into categories/folders so that we can find them quickly from our personal "my business" page or "my network" page. Suggestion: Realtors, Sign Makers, Painters, Builders, Hair Salon, etc.... Suggestion: Realtors, Sign Makers, Painters, Builders, Hair Salon, etc. and be able to label these folders with our own labels. I, personally, have nearly 500 contacts here on Ali, and currently have to search and search in order to find that "ONE" contact that does that something special needed for a client referral or goods to be made or service to be had. Please, please. It would be such a time saver.

I, personally, get the greatest satisfaction from helping other small business contacts and startups. I've been in the same trade now for over 40 yrs and own my own biz now for 22 yrs. Seeing the ups and downs over over all this time is something to share as an insight and a support to others.... (more) All of the above is very impt info as many folks really don't (and I do mean really don't) know how to network and learn about other people and the business they do. All in the name of giving and getting to know each other for referral purposes. Example: I contacted an Ali member to learn about what they do and how...pretty soon I was being hound dogged like being chased by a telemarketer. Moral of the story: I learned nothing about that biz except that the person never paid attention to my initial request for a general oversight into their services as I wasn't asking about "buying" anything. I was merely wanting to "network". So, be a good networker and referral buddy and LISTEN when someone contacts you as it could cost you future referrals.
