How We Got Started

We got our start in 1996 when the Internet was coming to consumers and businesses, much like Facebook did in the late 2000's. We had the opportunity to educate business owners all around the world from the Silicon Valley, to Africa to Europe and share the marketing power behind it.
After Deirdre moved to Boulder, CO in 2000 and obtained her coaching certificate did she incorporate business coaching and group coaching into her work. Now Deirdre incorporates Life Purpose coaching to ensure people become aligned with greater fulfillment and meaning in their work.

But I use a different approach once the client & I decide to work together. I primarily work with solo-entrepreneurs so I also delve into their personal strengths and weaknesses. I use an objective biometric assessment call Scientific Hand Analysis. People's innate strengths and weaknesses show up in the lines in their hands. This method bypasses their personal opinion about themselves, which only provides part of the picture. This is also part of the intake session, along with discussion of questionnaires they complete that helps me see client goals and intentions, clear strengths and weaknesses, and what motivates them. We then coach via Skype or in person 3x/month, or weekly with one week off over a period of 3,6, or 9 months. We celebrate milestones and support the client to move forward and learn wherever possible. I also offer exclusive VIP days, which is basically doing a radical business makeover. This is a totally different process designed for people who want to make BIG transformations happen in a short period of time. I offer mastermind groups to engage business owners as well, since one size does NOT fit all. I hope this helps you! Deirdre

I was always a working mom myself, but I met plenty of stay-at-home moms through daycare and school, mom's groups, parks, the grocery store, library story times and of course on Facebook. These, of course, were a more natural means rather than strategic. Are you a mom? If so, being a mom is the mother of all ice-breakers and is the easiest way to connect with other moms. On a business note, the word "mom" is the strongest egoic label that we moms identify with, and therefore the strongest attention-getter when advertising. That's why targeting moms on Facebook advertising can be so effective. Facebook knows exactly who we are and where to find us.
