You need the "big idea". The mechanism that differentiates you from all the rest. It can be an actual difference or a unique descriptor that people cannot categorize and easily dismiss with "oh, yes, I have seen this before."  Marketing is at its core an idea business.  (more) You need the "big idea". If you are talking on the phone or stock taking or anything when a customer walks in your shop and you make them wait you are doomed. Maybe not this purchase but for sure the next.
