Do you add a percentage into your cost for basic machine maintenance? And if so, how do you calculate that percentage?

Yes I do. It is calculated by dividing the cost over the period of one years hours of operation, i.e maintenance cost of $2000 / 2080 HoO = $.96 per hour over the work center cost.
