There are a lot of variables, every implant system, lab and dentist that does this charges different rates. Are all teeth extracted, do they need to be? How long has it been since teeth were extracted if they are out? Is it both arches, is there bone available or does grafting need to take place.  Will there be an interim temporary device needed? Without a set of current x-rays-NO ONE can give you this information and if they do-run away! You are talking about something that only a few well educated and experienced periodontist/oral surgeon/and general dentist TEAM should do, and the expense for that is necessary for the quality and experience that is needed. Do not do this procedure based on cost, you will be sorry.

I would add to that excellent response: Are you expecting for fixed or removable teeth after implants had osseointegrated (healed to your bone)...

I like your answer Patti, but you forgot to mention PROSTHODONTISTS as being among those who are well trained and experienced in dental implant procedures. Oral Surgeons and Periodontists are certainly qualified, but Prosthodontists receive extensive training in both dental implant placement and dental implant restoration while in dental school.
