Bake Ability is a bakery with a mission-based training program (Recipe for Life™) created by parents, and designed to combat the staggering rate of unemployment among disabled adults over 21. We are combatting unemployment among the disabled community one delicious bite at a time.

Unemployment among those with autism (and related spectrum disorders) is approximately 85% according to Forbes as recently as 2021. Bake Ability provides meaningful training and employment to a grossly underserved and highly unemployed community, adults with developmental disabilities over the age of 18. We have found that this employee population is trainable, eager, loyal and wants nothing more than to feel like they are making both an impact and contribution in their local community.
