Losing a child is by far the worst nightmare, I can't imagine your days and nights. What I do know is the Lord is the great comforter and He will give you strength when you have none.

Losing a child is by far the worst nightmare, I can't imagine your days and nights. What I do know is the Lord is the great comforter and He will give you strength when you have none.
For your non-profit, I totally understand how hard it can be but sometimes we do move on our own instead of waiting on the Lord to open the doors. I opened a Non-profit 18 years ago and by His Grace we are still strong and saving lives. What I would tell you is the event in my life that catapulted me into this one, was not near what you have experienced but sure felt kindred. Close to the event I could not have been successful but in time and it really was His timing it all fell into place. These families do need to be able to put a marker at their child's grave. I do feel you are on the right track. However, I would encourage you to take care of you first and fill back up after this and then you will have a well in which to give. It just may not be time and the above counsel with going to the University to get interns is a GREAT way to get some help. The accounting dept might file your 501 c3 status if you don't have it and get your legal papers in place and if you'd like to connect on some fundraising ideas I could help you.
