I agree with several of the previous responses. Just because it is a premium $$$ doesn't mean it is right for your business or worth the expense. Cheap isn't always better either. Been burnt both ways. I look at reviews, ask questions of other business owners you respect and want to emanate in your business. I ask family & friends for personal references and their experiences. Don't be afraid to research and ask questions.

Listen to your instinct. I've had connections with some very personable small business owners who charge big fees for what they do but I had doubts and listened to that. I've learned to follow my budget (there's a lot of free continuing education), network with confidence and focus on what I'm great at and hire for those things I don't want to "waste" my time on.

When I started, I did local networking (which led to national exposure), joined accounting/bookkeeping FB & LI groups to get my name out there. I'm still growing my business but thought I would share what I've learned thus far.
