I received an Industrial Electronic Degree from SAIT, worked with CNCP Telecommunications for 3 years and in 1980 decided that I wanted to have my own business in Electronics [ PNA2000 Electronic sales & service]. After 4 years the place burned down and I started inventing products on the side for customers in the DJ business. I invented a water alarm control system, the Bertonee Transformer [ very small electronic transformer for use in Neon tubes] and got involved in the Magnetic bed industry also. The house sign in 1992 was my biggest hit gaining wide recognition in the gaming industry all across Canada & the USA. Then in 1999 I was convinced for the second time that an Illuminated address sign should be invented and used for house signs. It took a long time and a lot of patience to convince people that this was a good idea and to buy the sign, not until 2009 when LED started to become more popular and I changed the design that my business took off and became more recognized.
