Don't get to caught up with the word "strategy". A lot of times it boils down to who/where you're targeting, what competitors are doing and how you can differentiate yourself (by price, positioning, distribution, packaging, promotion, etc). Start simple, test, and scale from there. Check out the hashtags your competitors are using and who they are following to get insights. Poll your social media audience and get their feedback. It can be as simple as just building a prototype landing page and then test from there with organic posts/ads. If it is a physical product, sampling will help too. Don't forget to check your analytics/search console to see what works.

What is your business about? I just helped a company generate 5 testimonials from their clients. The survey was short, 10 questions, and we offered a link-back to their companies along with their testimonials on my client's website, as well as a mention about them on social media platforms. No gifts or discounts were accorded. Just a sincere gratification with the intention of helping their businesses in return for their kind words and time. 😊
Two simplest and low cost ways to grow customer base in my experience:
1) Take care and leverage on your partners and employees
2) Take care of your existing customers.
Both will make them feel so appreciated that they wanna spread around the good word about you. 😊

Hi there, it depends on what you define as a goal. In Google Analytics you may set up goals for your website users to say download something, sign-up for newsletters, checkout, etc. There are other metrics you may analyze such as click-through rate, number of impressions that depends on your objectives. For social media engagement, number of comments, as opposed to vanity metrics (number of likes) will show a more indicative engagement level. Most of the time, I'll analyze click-through rate to the landing page or website which is more meaningful.

It depends on where you think your target audience lurk and the types of conversations/questions/pain points/interests/intents they might have. For instance, the types of convo/posts in LinkedIn aren't quite the same as those in Facebook although the profiles of the people might be dissimilar. Once you identified them, and depending on your goals (acquisition, nurturing, conversion, remarketing, retention), it'll be much easier for you to pinpoint and test your advertising on these channels - digital, social, or even traditional. You may start small with social media first (which is less expensive as compared to SEM) and extend from there as you analyze your analytics data. The best is to drive traffic from a few channels with various tactics (owned, earned, paid, traditional) rather than one channel. Hope this helps! :)
I'd recommend MailChimp for sure since you can start off free. I just wish the analytics can be more consistent across different types of campaigns. My experience is restricted to freeware so far, so maybe it is more robust for the paid version. The content management interface could be better...

I'd recommend MailChimp for sure since you can start off free. I just wish the analytics can be more consistent across different types of campaigns. My experience is restricted to freeware so far, so maybe it is more robust for the paid version. The content management interface could be better too but it suffices so far for whatever I do.
