I retooled or changed the way we did business quickly in March. Our dispatcher for our largest client said we are going to have less cargo deliveries but more prescriptions. I accepted the fact and accepted doing cheaper deliveries, but in higher volume. It paid off, I have still been busy and when the Priority delivery comes up, he thanks me by offering them to me. It gets that one done by a happy driver whom gets a pay bump. The Pre Corona Virus guy maybe only saw 20 % of those Priorities but now gets upward of percent. I also have done some #Payitforward deliveries which attracts more attention to us. I could have shut down but stayed open, got some work and got introduced to some specials, not normally available to us. A Win-win. 2 new clients came to us directly through the lower end business in to the higher pay side of business too.

In PreCovid, I would meet, shake hands with new clients, now we meet if necessary, but do not shake hands. We provide paperwork information via e-mail, provide phone calls and or texts . Also, I started a daily Facebook posting of Good morning today is e.g. Friday May 08. This has heightened people's knowledge of my name and company name etc.

We accepted a new mind set, ie contactless plus offering to work with more medical clinics, doctors, medical suppliers etc. We broadcasted via various mediums, ie Facebook, Twitter things we did, ie taking showers after work plus changing clothes so that we are protecting our families and tomorrow's customers. Before this, the question would have been, who cares that you change your clothes when you get home? Or that you showered, now it is a concern. It shows care and concern. It shows mindset or attitude change. We are in conversation constantly with the banks/credit unions, doctors, pharmacies, answering health questions etc as a frontline worker etc. I guess we also spread positive news to the receivers of products from us which helps!

The customer is messaged service completed. Our customers are paying via E-Transfer or online therefore we are paid as well. A win-win for everyone. They are not competitive with each other but they can give you excellent advice. And it is only advice you choose how to use it.

We do it by donating our delivery services to several religious and also non religious, non - profits. On our invoicing, we called it community write offs. At the end of each quarter, we total it , declare it as write offs for taxes. The receivers our non profits, love it, spread the word...

New Clients whom want to join this group must be referred to prevent abuse of our free service.

I also have had the issue, that my wife had a severe medical concern, so clients love my comments about Stroke/Brain and heart . Therefore Valentines will be a natural to build upon.

This works perfect for us, eg Hey you know gas prices are going up, so you better fill up, response from potential, yah I guess you got to keep track of the prices, I tell them yes as a delivery service, oh here is our card, it is important. We can keep our prices down, longer by fueling up before the price increases. It is an opening line. We also open up new leads via social media posting industry tips, like don't book a trip (ie delivery) thats not urgent on a Friday afternoon, if it can wait till Monday. You can book it but tell the call taker today or Monday. Our new potentials like the casual interaction versus the pushed networking or pushed special meeting.
