You are very lucky to be getting such experience at a young age. Other employees will be looking for favoritism towards you and will use it, so your parents/boss have to project that this is not the case. Working in the family business is an honor and a responsibility. There are opportunities to share learning on both sides. My hunch is that you may have cried wolf too many times about things and other employees. Maybe not, but they are responsible to hear other employees complaints and will be held accountable. I believe that they did hear you and did take action when they heard the same complaint from another employee. I'm sorry they didn't acknowledge your contribution, likely they are overwhelmed. It is unbelievably difficult to run a business and keep food on everyone's table and business coming in the door. It doesn't happen by magic and you have more responsibility than the others as you are part of the Brand of the business just by the nature of your responsibility. Try and support the Brand and extend the attitude and message to the other employees.

And as with any other person, in a non-combative manner, set appropriate boundaries and ask what you can do to not get yelled at in front of the other employees. Explain how you are a Brand champion and love the family business and would like to share the love and message of what a great place this is to work and frequent as a business.
