How We Got Started

I started ATMDepot after my previous company XtraCash ATM (which I founded in 1996) was sold to Amicus Financial and then to ETrade. A lot of ATM owners needed help and larger institutions were not providing the necessary training and help new ATM business Entrepreneurs needed to succeed.

I have been in the ATM business for over 2 decades. This is an interesting question since we've seen a proliferation of ATMs deployed in retail, manufacturing, jails, commercial settings, and even in condo and apartment buildings.  There is more cash in circulation than ever before.  However,... (more) I have been in the ATM business for over 2 decades. This is an interesting question since we've seen a proliferation of ATMs deployed in retail, manufacturing, jails, commercial settings, and even in condo and apartment buildings.  There is more cash in circulation than ever before.  However, since the pandemic, we see many people are just now returning to cash. Cash transactions can save retailers about 20% of their credit card fees. We've seen businesses that install ATMs and offer customers easy access to cash, increased cash transactions lower credit and debit card usage which lowers associated fees. Since the ATM charges the user for convenient access to cash, the retail owner 's payment acceptance burden is lowered, and people with cash often spend a little more knowing they won't have a bill at the end of the month.  It's interesting since about 50% of our ATM customers purchase ATMs with a credit card for ease of purchase and use cash on hand to load the ATM. Then they use the residual income from the ATM business to pay off the credit card.

Reply to all online reviews both good and badPresale objectives Provide necessary information so customers can make a smart buying decision.
