Tell them something about yourself & what you do. Give them your card! Ask for referrals after you have gotten to know the person. Take your eyes off of yourself & help them get what they want & you will be rewarded many times Over! people like to do business with people they know & trust!

I guess the only minus is you have to take care of doing everything yourself or delegating & hiring people to help you & pay. You need to be disciplined or you may not always reach your goals.

Go to MLS Caravan meetings & do a presentation. Let Realtors know who you are, what you do, rates, mobile, availability etc.

Realtor.com use to be a good source to put our listings on for more exposure too but now they are doing the same thing selling leads back to paying Realtors. It use to be the leads would go to the listing agent or agent that advertised the listing in Realtor.com but not anymore. It's definitely a monopoly & these companies are using us & making a lot of mo et. If I wanted a lead program in Realtor.com they said they would charge for 1 zip code $629/mo for an average of 123 leads per year! 😱
Those leads are from other agents listings. Leads they should be getting as a listing agent. This is highway robbery! Not healthy for our industry. I am a veteran agent since 1985& have seen a lot of changes some really good & some like this. We invest a lot of time, money & effort in our business as a Realtor & we should not allow companies like Zillow, Truilia & now Realtor.com to explode us & take advantage of us like this. They should never be allowed access to our MLS ever
