Stonebriar Dog Training LLC offers positive-reinforcement based training in Carrollton, West Georgia, and East Alabama areas. Group and private, in-home classes are available for behavior issues such as aggression or separation anxiety, as well as for puppy kindergarten through competitive obedience.
Trainer Monique Williams is a nationally certified trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors. Monique is a member of the Pet Professional Guild, Association of Pet Dog Trainers, an AKC Farm Dog Judge, and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and member of the Collie Club of America.
After successfully competing in dog sports such as AKC obedience and conformation,Monique Williams was asked by kennel clubs such as Kennesaw Kennel Club and Tryon Dog Fanciers to teach classes for their members and to the public. In 1996, Monique formed her own dog training company and began offering training and behavior services through community departments such as Craven County Parks and Recreation, Cherry Point Marine Corps Base MWR, Kennesaw Parks and Recreation, as well as through veterinary hospitals and stores such as The Dog Spot. After moving to her farm in West Georgia, Monique began offering services both on the farm and in private lessons, and expanded her offerings to include other animals, such as cats, horses, pigs, etc.
