Nothing different than normal practices. Record PPP revenue as a loan until forgiven then reclassify to income. Even though the statue indicates the funding is not income and that the related expenses cannot be deducted-this just confuses things--This would create problems in processing w-2s etc. Record the funding as revenue at the proper time and take the deductions in total. We are going to anticipate that the loan will be forgiven if the paperwork indicates that...
