I believe we need more IRS agents to go after the biggest tax dodgers. People like Trump have been getting away with this for years. It won't help the USA to go after people with small incomes. That's a waste of money for sure. Even small amounts unreported or mistakes won't pay the salaries...

We've got lots of grifters like Donald Trump and family who have gotten away with NOT paying taxes.
As well as a performer and music instructor, I am an officer in a union, and have served as a delegate for 2 orchestras to the group that serves orchestra musicians.

I don't need any more work but respond to requests from individuals or organizations. I am finding Alignable a time waster. The members are great, but they don't need me and generally I don't need them, sorry to say. I NEED to stay OFF of social media.

I prefer that government treat Covid as a serious threat and continue to stress the need to be vaccinated. Because people coming into my area from areas where cautions are NOT being required, I would like to see travel bans imposed on such areas to keep their spread of the virus from making...

That means people who live in Florida stay there, and no one, not already in the state, goes to Florida.
Gas prices and cost of groceries concern me. My salary isn't going up and I don't see Social Security keeping up with inflation, but you know Congress will vote themselves a raise, even though I doubt they need it. People should decide whether Congress gets a raise, just as Congress decides...

I wear a mask in public. I ask my students to wear a mask, and my professional orchestras require vaccinations of their musicians. Given the virus raging everywy, the only way we are going to stop it is by taking all precautions and not letting the virus "in". That's the surest way to stop...
