About Us

Our measurements are taken in accordance with the Residential Square Footage Guidelines issued by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Measurements are taken by hand using a laser measure and immediately input into computer software on site. All square footage is also calculated in the software so that there is no need to calculate the spaces by hand. Our service is about accurate measurements giving realtors peace of mind and buyers a plan from which to plan and dream about their new home.

How We Got Started

Hi, I’m Alexis Gray, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Masters of Architecture. I learned so much working in the Architecture field for over 9 years creating construction documents, overseeing multimillion dollar projects and handling construction administration. I have worked in my measuring business dating back to 2015, and I love creating a visual which serves both the realtor and the buyer.

(more) I was working in the Architecture field as a Project Manager / Construction Administrator, when a family member who is a Realtor was getting ready to close on a listing. She had a measurement from a professional that she had used for a long time and an appraisal that didn't match. She was in a tight spot and asked me if I could measure the property for her on short notice and tell her which measurement was correct. I measured the property and gave her a floor plan and she was blown away by the product that I produced. It was really just helping out a family member in a time of need. A couple of weeks later she was closing again and her measuring person was backed up and wouldn't make it out in time. I again measured for her. She asked if this might be something that I would do for her on a part time basis and I did over two years. In those two years I began helping more and more people with their measurements and it turned into a full time business. In an effort to better help my clients and to also understand what they are going through, I also received my Broker License. What my clients like, and what grew from the beginning, was a trust that they have in our measurements that they are accurate. I provide a floor plan that is clean and understandable by the average person, and it provides the agent with not only the measurements and square footage that they need, but it can also be used for marketing buyers. We are reliable in that we show up when scheduled, and have a next day turn around which most agents need in a fast market. These are the qualities that our business was built on and we continue to strive to maintain those everyday.
