About Us

My name is Randall Maynard and I am a fine artist who lives and operates in the Chesapeake area. I primarily paint in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Among my favorite subjects to paint include landscapes, waterscapes, and old buildings and transportation. I also very much enjoy painting wildlife.

My clients are in numerous regions throughout the country. The truth is that many of them found out about me either while visiting in Virginia Beach, Virginia or the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Others discovered my work years ago when I specialized in painting “homesteads” and special memorable homes for people.

How We Got Started

Having several family members who were artists helped to nurture and fuel my love for painting. Although I was always drawing when I was a kid and teen, I didn’t seriously pursue art until I was in my twenties. Back then I would normally work from 7am-6pm then come home and paint until about midnight-2am. Those early years were very instrumental in developing my style and discipline to my craft.
