About Us
Initially founded in 1985 to address the loss of manufacturing industry and jobs in the Ravenswood community on the north side of Chicago, JARC’s scope has expanded to offer a range of social, economic and educational services to ensure that people who work do not live in poverty.
We provide manufacturing training for job seekers and incumbent workers, in addition to one-on-one tutoring for community residents.
Our comprehensive services ensure that low-income and disadvantaged job seekers can obtain living wage employment and achieve self-sufficiently while simultaneously meeting the needs of local manufacturing employers.

"I can offer only the highest recommendation for Wednesday Quansah. In this letter I would like to express my respect and appreciation for this bright person, who brought outstanding contribution to the work of education. Her extraordinary ability to analyze problems and outline necessary courses of action is invaluable and has outstanding leadership abilities in instructing her students to succeed. From our collaboration I can conclude that Wednesday has a strong motivation for work in education and out comes with her students. "
