Hi. I’m Joyce, and I have a blog called Wish you were here: A Rock Fantasy, a book inspired by Badfinger on Facebook. I would like your opinion on the story. I am in the third book on my blog now. When Tomas of Str8Up in 1983, after years of depression after his bandmate and a close friend, who died in 1975, comes to heaven to be judged. He passes by the skin of his teeth and is given a guardian angel to help him adapt to heaven, but Tommy’s goal becomes to search every place he can for his bandmate. Through his quests and desperation to find his best friend, Tomas runs into other souls some famous, who I was inspired by, like Jim Morrison, Keith Moon, John Bonham, Gilda Radner just to name a few and learns from each and one of them something to help him get closer to finding his mate. Will Tomas find him or at least peace in his afterlife? You will find the questions in this fantasy, a paranormal novel entitled: Wish You Were Here.

I would definitely put your work on social media. Start a Facebook group. That is what I did to sell my book. Once you get some interest, get to know your customer. I usually start a casual conversation with them on messenger and see where they are at mentally. I think the slow sell approach is... (more) I would definitely put your work on social media. It really helps to know your audience as well. Not only did I receive buyers, but they also became my friends. I hope this helps.

This is how I got interviewed for my book. I looked up podcasts who feature books or authors for their shows. A good press release is also important and play a role in whether you get an interview.
