I am not sure how anyone could not be impacted by this. Your either getting less or more business, or none at all. Impact!
I am still amazed how many companies remain open believing themselves to be essential. Don't want to judge, but ask that you all consider closing (unless you can work and video connect at home). A big thank you though to the essential folks out there who work in our grocery stores, banks, city water and sewage, garbage, healthcare, fire, police. Maybe I am missing an important one in there, but these are the ones I consider essential and thank them for remaining open.
Stay healthy and safe and away from everyone. Looking forward to getting back to work.

I am glad I don't have to rely on them for my business. When companies call on me in person without an appointment, It is a hiccup in my day that I don't appreciate. When companies call me to sell me their business, I remind them that I came to work today to work, not receive calls I didn't...

When companies call me to sell me their business, I remind them that I came to work today to work, not receive calls I didn't expect to hear what you can offer me. When I recognize a need, I go search for the product or service that will meet the need. I personally don't appreciate companies (example: company selling medical supplies) calling me and asking me who I currently get my products or services through, then proceeding in their attempt to sell me theirs.
Your question sounds as if you are traveling by horse to locations outside of government agencies with the purpose of offering Veterans a free trauma therapy. I suggest you use social media to locate the vets and then travel to them by car or plane.

All you need is their CA Contractor ID number. It is easy to look up online to see that they are insured. They have to jump through a lot of hoops to get that number and keep it current with insurance and such. just get their contractor ID and look it up online. Easy.

Fortunately, I don't rely on calls to get business, but in every area that I advertise and all the calls that I do make, I am honest about what I want, why I believe they need it and exactly what it costs. I absolutely hate when the price is the last item discussed, and I immediately leave websites that tell me to call for the price or sign up for a demo (without listing the price). The price range allows the customer know if they can afford it, so tell them first. Imagine going to amazon and not knowing the price until you are in the checkout. That would be a waste of time. So, don't call and leave a message telling them you want to meet and see what kind of a rate we can get you, or how we can get this product into your hands. Instead, I have several customers like you that have saved this much $ when buying through me. I am selling this for this much $, if this sounds better than what you are finding elsewhere, call me back.

We use lots of plastic everyday. Our lab based testing requires individually wrapped plastic cups. It always feels like a waste. We work hard to keep our office paperless however.
