I think for me, the thing hurting my progress in my current novel is pain, I suppose. I began this story with a very close friend but as of last year, we are no longer friends.
I have overcome writer's block in all other forms of writing. Even though I'm passionate about the story and I have a lot of it planned out, somehow my brain has connected the work with the loss of that friendship and it's been challenging to finish.
It's written and edited, I just need to go through it a time or two so it's ready for the public.
As far as completed projects go, my longest so far would be my poetry book. It took about two months to complete.

I use Google Docs more often than not. I do use pen and paper when I'm outlining and brainstorming though.
