How We Got Started

After experiencing remarkable health changes while undergoing chiropractic care, I decided that I could use chiropractic as a way to impact people's health. Since starting my practice I have gained considerable understanding of the underlying processes that impact health and have incorporated that understanding into my practice.

Most of my patients are by referral. I also have a website. I spend a lot of time networking. One thing that has helped a lot is that I am a member of a local BNI group. There are two problems I face. One is the cost. The other is that it is a marijuana derivative. Even though I explain that it is legal and not the part that gets people high, I still have people refuse it because of the source. (more) There are two problems I face. One is the cost. When I give my report of findings I explain that their schedule of care is a prescription and like a drug prescription, they will get the best results if they follow their prescription exactly as I have it outlined. I also let them know that, if the must miss an appointment for any reason, they will need to make it up as soon as possible. Even so, sometimes people don't show up, in which case my assistant calls them to make sure they are alright. She then explains that they need to maintain their schedule, because it is a prescription. She works to get them back on the schedule as soon as possible. If all else fails, we accept that the patient just wasn't ready for care. If they become a chronic offender, we have them prepay when they make the appointment, with no refunds allowed.
