About Us

Bob Fombelle, owner of the Great Boars of Fire, has been catering for 30 years. Great Boars of Fire began BBQ competitions in 1989. We have won many awards for our baby back ribs and BBQ. The success of our catering service has led us to the expansion of the business to include a full-service restaurant, The Blue Boar Restaurant & Bar.

How We Got Started

We got our start in BBQ competitions. After winning Memphis in May, and winning multiple other state championships, we decided to try full time catering.
