Let's start off with something fun. Before reading, you may like to see a few web demo apps:

We help churches, NGOs, and NPOs fundraise, by taking advantage of the mobile internet community, providing these organizations with a mobile app that their members and the community can download. From the app, they can shop as they normally would, such as at Amazon. When they make a purchase, a part of that goes to your organization, and this part, they can write off for their taxes.
Back in 2006, before the "Great Rescission," we were focused in the Tampa Bay Area. We were working towards have a tv series, based in the "wee hours," that would promote the local art and music scene, as well as helping to promote the local small businesses.
We had interviews, clips from local festivals, and music videos. Things were going great, and we had all the pieces into place, and were getting sponsors interested in the show. Then, the economy hit the huge snag, and sponsors were unwilling to put the advertising dollars into a new and unproven venue.
Since then, many in our group have diversified. Some are involved in Public Access TV, helping the under privileged learn about multimedia production.
I've come to focus on providing mobile app services at discounts to organizations that want to tap into the mobile internet, and use it to help them fundraise.
