About Us

Our mission is to champion the welfare of all cats, especially the most vulnerable.

The Feline Fix is an affordable spay/neuter clinic for pet cats, stray cats and feral cats. We also provide low-cost preventative care clinics on Fridays.

The Feline Fix operates a program for the humane management of feral cat colonies - Trap-Neuter-Return and a Foster/Adoption program for feral kittens.

How We Got Started

Annual cat euthanasia rates in Colorado shelters were over 20,000 and the majority of the cats being euthanized were feral cats. Trap-Neuter-Return was the only humane solution to the cat overpopulation issue. Removing the cats doesn't solve the problem, nor does not feeding them. The only way to stop the reproduction cycle is spaying and neutering. Because of the 20 years of TNR, the euthanasia rate in shelters is only 5,000. There are still an estimated 80,000 to 100,000 free-roaming, unaltered cats in Metro Denver.

Our bank has started the forgiveness process on a rolling basis. We are waiting to hear from them. We received just over $50k so not sure how we'll be affected. We have prepared for the long haul and will continue to wear masks, clean often, limit access to our clinic and follow all guidelines.  If conditions worsen even more, we will require those employees who can work at home to work remotely thereby reducing staff to the recommended number of 5 or fewer. It is our hope there will not be a shut down as another one would ultimately close our business/nonprofit to the detriment of the people and cats we serve.

I know of a couple of people who have used CBD oil for their cats to help with pain and arthritis. From what I understand, it worked well for them.  However, I would not use it unless I talked to a veterinarian. Using CBD oil could have adverse effects if the cat is on other medications. We email/send out thank you letters to all our donors no matter the amount of the donation. This also provides them a receipt for their donation.  It is well worth the time and effort. Sorry, I don't know of a system specifically for your business. We use a spay/neuter system. (more) Sorry, I don't know of a system specifically for your business. We use a spay/neuter system.

Our clients with pet cats keep bringing their cats to us because we offer affordable veterinary services. We are located in an area where there are no affordable veterinary services available for cats.

We are a nonprofit providing affordable veterinary services for cats so we do not give discounts.  We do targeted marketing and rely on word of mouth as our services are pretty specialized.
