"I recommend anyone who is passionate about rehoming BBBs. BBBs(big black dogs) are most often overlooked in shelters and frequently euthanized, even if friendly and adoptable. It's a real issue."

I am a doctor. There is no way that anyone even KNOWS for certain that these cases are Delta Variant. The PCR test does not distinguish. I also want to know exactly how many of the positive test results are indicative of actual symptomatic cases before I lose my mind. We just DON'T know because we are never told. All we hear is 'cases.'
We had an outbreak of supposed 'cases' last August at my business. All but two of my employees tested positive and were classified as 'cases' by the Health Department. We were part of the statistics. Only ONE employee was symptomatic. I know this is not necessarily representative, but what IS? We DON'T know.
We are not being given enough information to intelligently make decisions and it really makes me mad. All we are told is how many people are testing positive. Not how many are really sick.
I am NOT saying no one is getting sick. What I AM saying is that we have NO clue how many are actually getting sick and how many are just testing positive. Until I KNOW that this is a true epidemic of actual illness and not just positive test results, I will not worry about it. I have plenty of other things to worry about.
