About Us

My passion is in helping and connecting others to the resources they need!

Reach for the Stars Tutoring, Inc, has been serving students of all ages since 2004. We work with students locally, across the US, and around the globe! Our primary goals are strengthening skills, building confidence, and reducing stress on students and families. Our teachers have been professionally trained in providing virtual tutoring and education.

If you can imagine it, we can help you to achieve it!

How We Got Started

I get my greatest pleasure from knowing that I helped someone else, from connecting someone to the resources they need, and by connecting people with each other. I started my tutoring company to support children's educational needs. Over the years, I have started additional endeavors, all with the goal of helping others and providing them with assistance to make smart choices for their families.

Great idea!  Too often, paraprofessionals do not have the proper training to effectively work with students with autism.  Can you offer online courses/workshops for paraprofessionals?  I actually have a dear friend, who might be able to help you with this.  She's an educational consultant and... I also made up flyers with little pull-off tabs and spent hours every weekend, going to my local shopping centers, walking into each store, asking to speak with the owner or manager, and asking for permission to post my flyer. It was time-consuming work and I learned that the store windows get cleaned every week, so the flyers are taken down. I started to get smart and only hit the high traffic stores like the stationary, cleaners, deli, pizza, and Chinese food places. I was careful to avoid corporate stores, too, because they aren't allowed to post flyers. Very time-consuming but nevertheless, it worked! The best decision I ever made to seriously grow my business, was to join a local chapter of a national business networking group! I haven't paid for advertising since. It's like having a group of salespeople working for me. It's all based on word-of-mouth referral. If anyone wants more info, feel free to message me. I also do a LOT in the last several years with Facebook. The majority of my new clients come from a combination of Facebook and the business networking group. You've got to be smart about social media. No one likes to read sales posts all the time. You've got to provide information, so that you're looked at as a resource.

I offer referral incentives. When a client refers a new client to us, they earn a free tutoring session. (more) I offer referral incentives. When a client refers a new client to us, they earn a free tutoring session.

I have to be honest. When I share my post myself in different groups, I get a LOT more views than when I pay to boost my ad. For example, I have a post now that has reached over 6000 people through my own efforts and only 75 from boosting it. (more) I have to be honest.
