Timeless Staging and Northern Estate Sales Inc. is a family owned and operated company based in the community of East Ferris, serving Northern Ontario.

The business is fully insured and provides a wide range of professional home staging, estate downsizing, senior transitioning and moving services. You can can visit the storefront location at 53 Main St., S in Callander that also serves as a local gift shop and location to sell client consignment or call for an in-house appointment.

How We Got Started

The business was established in 2017 as a "home staging and decorating" company that provided a range of professional in-house services and was called, "Timeless Staging and Interior Decorating Inc.".

It was evident that baby boomers & elderly members of our community needed instrumental and compassionate senior transitioning services. This was primarily in the area of downsizing personal possessions, household content and assets.

In order to accommodate and provide these new services; we expanded our network, hired amazing, talented and skilled staff, opened a storefront location and finally changed our business name to "Timeless Staging & Northern Estate Sales Inc.".

Now, we provide end-to-end services to assist individuals take that next step whether it be relocation, downsizing and/or moving to retirement living or assisted living home.

I have learned the hard way. People who are not willing to pay or are typically difficult and challenging customers. They don't appreciate your services. In the past, I have attended open houses held by the agent. If it is not intrusive, I will take the time to introduce myself otherwise ... just discretely leave my business card on the counter if I felt my services would benefit the homeowner. I agree with Marion below, it is would be of importance to interview the client and submerge yourself in the culture to understand how to create a space that is functional in design (i.e., architecture, textiles, colours, artifacts, design elements, etc.) and creates an emotional connection for... There are many small time local favourites that I miss but the largest chain store that is gone forever is SEARS. It makes me sad that businesses cannot keep up or compare to online shopping. I was just saying yesterday that my 7 year old is lucky to have had experienced what it was like to browse in a toy stores because my grandchildren may never have that delight. Shop local folks - support your community, friends and neighbors!
