I’m Tricia Perrier, author, and someone who has walked the emotional path of caring for a terminally ill loved one. Through my book For the Caregiver: Providing Yourself Emotional Support on Your Caregiving Journey, I share my personal story along with tools and insights to help others navigate the emotional element of caregiving.
With a background in human ecology and a deep commitment to emotional wellness, my mission is to support individuals who are caring for others or grieving a profound loss. I believe that self-love and self-care are essential in times of hardship—and it’s my hope that my writing becomes a trusted companion for those who need it most.
While working at a weight loss clinic, I discovered something new about myself—a strong desire to empower clients on their path to better health. This passion inspired me to do more with it. With a deep interest in nutrition and a commitment to helping others, I pursued an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science, along with a minor in Human Ecology. My personal experience combined with my professional background in Human Ecology led me to publishing For the Caregiver.
